100-sec filmfest receives over 3000 requests

Over 3000 films from around the world have been submitted to the International 100 Seconds Film Festival.

A lineup of 3606 works has requested to participate at the 12th edition of the festival.

A total of 2200 short films are submitted from 119 countries to vie at the international competition section of the event.

India, US, Turkey, Britain, France and Italy have the most submissions among other countries.

The main themes of the works submitted to the festival are “morality, children and youth, environment; and social and urban subjects”.

The Jury panel of the festival is now assessing and evaluating the received works. The selected works will participate in different sections of the festival.

The 12th edition of the International 100 Seconds Film Festival is supervised by Ali Ghorbani. The festival will be held in Tehran from February 27 to March 1, 2019.
